Susie Miller

Head Tennis Coach

 

For over 30 years, Susie has played many roles in the Toledo Tennis community.  

She spent the first 25 years of her coaching career at St. Ursula High School and has been coaching the girls' team at Northview for the past 5 years.  While at St Ursula, Susie coached multiple individual state champions, while also competing as a team in the state Final Four nearly every year.

 

In the 80’s and 90’s, Susie worked as the assistant teaching professional at The Courts of Sylvania.  During the summer months, she works as an assistant at Shadow Valley Tennis Club and as the Platform and Pickleball Director at The Inverness Club.  During the summer, Susie is the Head Teaching Professional for tennis at the Toledo Tennis Club. Additionally, Susie has served as a coach for multiple junior USTA Team Cup competitions.  The Miller family was honored to have been selected the Northwest Ohio Tennis Association Family of the Year in 2012. This year marks the beginning of her career at St. Francis coaching the Knights!
