Hit the links with the St. Francis golf team, which won the first TRAC Championship Tournament last year with a score of 313. The team offers a tremendous opportunity to develop your skills on the course, as well as offering the social and spiritual growth that can help make you a leader. Dan Sutton

Head Golf Coach

 

Since 2012, Mr. Sutton has been the Director of Golf at Heatherdowns Country Club and will remain in that position running the daily operations for the 18 hole, semi-private golf course and driving range.

Prior to that, 2009-2012, he was the Director of Golf at Spuyten Duyval Golf Club. He held the position of General Manager and Head Golf Professional at Eagle’s Landing Golf Club from 2002-2009. During this time, 2003-2008, he coached the Cardinal Stritch Men’s Golf Team and was the TAC 2007 Golf Coach of the Year.

Coach Sutton played golf for two years for the University of Toledo while he was pursuing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management Club Management. He was a 3 time player of the year for the Toledo Metro Golf Association in 1992, ’93, and ’95. He has competed in multiple tournaments both locally and regionally.

While at UT, he began the Toledo Golf News, for which he was the editor and publisher from 1992-1998.
