Dan Chipka
Head Football Coach
Chipka is a 2006 Anthony Wayne graduate who went on to play football at the college level at Bluffton University, 2006-2009. After his collegiate career, Chipka had a brief professional career with the Ft. Wayne FireHawks of the CIFL, in 2010. Most recently he coached at Waite High School where he led his team to a shared City League title in 2014. In 2015 his team earned the Hall of Fame Game Championship.

On being named Head Coach, Chipka said, “I am very pleased and honored to be St. Francis de Sales next head football coach, and cannot wait to get to work and begin building this program into one that we can all be proud of. I have a burning desire to be the very best, and compete at the highest level.”

SFS Football Camps
The St. Francis de Sales Football Program is excited to announce the dates for the 2018 Summer Camp circuit. Coach Dan Chipka and his Staff take great pride in the quality of instruction and organization for each camp. Centered around the foundation of football's fundamentals, each athlete will receive hands-on instruction to excel at their position.
Below, you will find a description of each camp along with details such as date(s), time, cost, and age groups.
Youth Camp - Clinic of Champions
The 2018 Knights Youth Camp is a non-contact, skills-teaching camp that is designed to give each athlete the foundation of football's fundamentals to excel at his position. Led by Coach Chipka and his staff, each player will receive hands-on instruction as he participates in drills and practices of the SFS Football Program. Campers will also learn about the principals of the SFS Football Program: Attitude, Effort, and Enthusiasm.
WHEN: June 25, 26, 27th
TIME: 9:00am to 12:00pm
WHERE: SFS Stadium
AGE: 3rd - 9th graders
COST: $25.00
Online registration will be made available in the Spring of 2018. Walk-up registration will be permitted (cash or check payment). Make checks payable to "SFS Football."
All campers will receive a 2018 Clinic of Champions T-Shirt.
BigMan Camp:
The 2018 BigMan Camp is geared for all Offensive Lineman, Tight Ends, Fullbacks and Defensive Lineman. This is a specialized camp designed to offer instruction for the interior play of football including, stance/start, hand technique, pass rush, pass protection, and agility drills.

Friday Knight Lights #1 & #2:
The 2018 Friday Knight Lights are highly competitive showcases designed for Northwest Ohio's 7th and 8th-grade football players to compete in individual, group, 7-on-7, and Lineman Combine Stations. Each camper will receive a FREE dry-fit cutoff for attendance in 2 out of the 3 camp dates (Clinic of Champions, Friday Knight Lights #1, and/or Friday Knight Lights #2). Over 350 athletes have attended over the past two years in East Toledo and SFS.

TIME: 7:20pm to 9:45pm

AGE: 7th & 8th graders
COST: FREE!
Online registration is at sfstoledo.org/camps. Walk-up registration will be permitted. All participants must complete a SFS Liability Form.
Royal & Red Week:
The 2018 Royal & Red Week is comprised of a Junior High 7-on-7 Tournament along with a BigMan Challenge. Only participating teams may compete in the 7-on-7 tournament and all athletes must register with their team in order to compete. The BigMan Competition is open to all competitors and athletes may enter as individuals or with a team. Both individual and team awards will be given to the top performing competitors.
