What is the Annual Fund?

Each year, St. Francis conducts an Annual Fund Campaign.  The SFS Annual Fund is the school’s primary Annual Giving program, and it allows donors to provide immediate support for the school’s core needs. Funds from the Annual Fund are used to pay for tuition assistance, academic instruction, athletics, student life as well as the upkeep of our beautiful 30-acre campus.

Are Annual Fund gifts tax deductible?

Yes! St. Francis de Sales is a 501(c)(3) organization, therefore your contribution to the Annual Fund is tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.  Once you have made your gift, you will receive a letter by mail for your tax purposes. 

 

What is a Planned Gift?

A planned gift is a future commitment such as inclusion in a bequest, a life insurance policy, or a gift received over a period of years through a trust.  Through planned gifts, donors are able to make a significant gift while also addressing personal financial goals that incorporate advantageous tax and strategic lifetime income needs.  Call Renee Winkler at 419-214-5429 or Click Here for more information.

How do I Sponsor a Knight?

The Sponsor-A-Knight program provides tuition assistance to students who demonstrate financial need.  Gifts may be for full or partial sponsorship.  Call Dan Zawisza at 419-214-5441 for more information.

 

What is a Matching Gift?

Many corporations will match your contribution to St. Francis de Sales School, thereby doubling or even tripling the impact of your gift!  If your company offers a matching gift, please fill out the form provided by your company and send to:

What are Named Endowed Funds?

A Named Endowed Fund is a fund, established within the Foundation to provide long term support for St. Francis de Sales School. For an initial gift of $25,000, the donor may direct the fund’s annual distributions to an area of their choosing; for example, scholarships, program support, etc.
