St. Francis de Sales Alumni Department
The re-designed Alumni Department at St. Francis de Sales School is focused on helping our alumni stay connected with the school. It is our hope that this relationship benefits not just our Alma Mater, but fellow alumni as well through networking and social opportunities.
These opportunities focus on at least one of the three types of relationships stressed by the Alumni Department: Alumnus to Alumnus, Alumnus to the School, and Alumnus to the Students.
Here is how we are serving the needs of our alumni, while also paving the way for St. Francis de Sales to continually offer the best college-prep education in Northwest Ohio:
Formal geographic Alumni Chapters of St. Francis de Sales, which maximize membership and networking opportunities, as well as structured collaboration with the school. Our first official chapter began in October 2013 in Chicago, with a Cincinnati chapter beginning in 2014.
The Class Agents Program highlights two or three alumni from each graduating class who work with the Alumni Director in relaying information from the school to alumni and vice versa. Class agents also serve on reunion committees, update the Class Notes section of KnightLife, and other necessary tasks.
Money isn’t the only way to give back to the Knight community. St. Francis offers alumni various volunteer opportunities from assisting at one of its many fundraising events to helping plan Alumni Reunion Weekend. All alumni have the chance to continue the tradition of brotherhood by volunteering to support the St. Francis mission.
